Ok so this is my first time attempting to do any sort of blogging. We will see how this goes..

Ben and I went out on our weekly date last night. We do different things on our date nights but a lot of the time it is dinner and a movie, you know the usual. Which is fine, we love it because we are together and we have fun, but since recent events we need to start being creative and less money spending :) Since we only have 1 car we decided we would get Ben a scooter for the spring and summer to ride to work and school. Well, we have turned out to love that little thing! This may sound lame but it is SO fun to ride on that thing, especially together. Ben is starting school this month and since we are paying for books and tuition up front we have to be extra froogle (which can be a challenging concept) :) so we are hardly eating out anymore and taking necessary cuts out of our spending. Anyways, yesterday we decided we would ride the scoot scoot to the Sugarhouse park. We brought bread to fed the ducks and seagulls, which I haven't done since I was younger. It was such a fun date! We walked around the park, fed the ducks and seagulls, laughed hard, made jokes. etc. We got back on the scooter and headed to down town Sugarhouse and got some cheap dinner and then walked around a little bit more. It's been busy lately so it was so nice to spend time together without any of the craziness around us. Yay for love!
